Cultural heritage expresses the rich history of our landscape. Think of the Roman Limes, medieval fortifications, special reclamations, defense structures, estates and industrial buildings. Often these structures or elements are under pressure of new spatial developments or decay by the loss of their original function and the lack of income.

Brons + partners sees cultural heritage as valuable carrier of different layers of time in the landscape. We look for opportunities to combine the historic significance of the heritage with current usage. The visualization of the timeline between history and actuality inspires us and connects past and present time. New developments we design as part of a coherent vision of this timeline.
